The test combines natural and social science to describe not only the biology and growth patterns of psychotropic mushrooms but also their use by various groups of indigenous people.

A stunning and historically important book.

Condition: Excellent condition with just a couple of minor flaws. The paper binding has become unglued at the spine but not damaged in any way so easily repaired. Very minor stress/edge wear to the spine and cover as is normal with these thin French paper bindings. The superbly printed and illustrated interiors are in excellent and seemingly unread condition.
