In 1975, a teenage Lizzy Mercier Descoux traveled to NYC with her boyfriend and future-founder of Ze Records, Michael Esteban. This book/zine/artwork is her response to the trip (first self-published in Paris in 1977.) The book contains twenty-five poems  interleaved with drawings, collages, handwritten notes, and photographs.

This is an unused copy of Inpatient Books facsimile 2022 reprint of the original zine with a new foreword by Patti Smith. The book is printed twice - back-to-back and upside down - French language on one side and English on the other.

112 pages. Illustrated throughout in black-and-white.
